Ridebuzz and UMASS collaboration
Professor Doron Goldman is integrating Ridebuzz into his Personal Sales and Marketing Class curriculum to provide students with real-world learning experiences that incorporate social, environmental, and economic responsibility. Students will apply their learning to help promote and expand Ridebuzz, which will directly provide benefits to the community in the form of accessible and sustainable transportation options that save the community vast amounts of money. Sharing rides and leaving the other cars parked cuts the emissions and the economic expenditure in half. Americans spend roughly a quarter of every dollar on passenger transportation, which emits nearly 25% of Greenhouse Gas Emissions.
