ACC releases men's 2014-15 basketball schedule

GREENSBORO, N.C. -

The Atlantic Coast Conference released its 2014-15 basketball schedule Wednesday.

Two of the most anticipated games of the season come when North Carolina faces arch rival Duke in Durham on Feb. 9 at 9 p.m. The Blue Devils pay a visit to Chapel Hill March 7.

The Tobacco Road teams take part in high profile out of conference games early in the season.

North Carolina will play Ohio State in Chicago Dec. 20 at 1 p.m. Duke takes on UConn in East Rutherford, New Jersey Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. N.C. State will play West Virginia at Madison Square Garden in New York City Dec. 20 at 9 p.m.

Mike Krzyzewski and the Blue Devils travel to Raleigh to take on N.C. State Jan. 11. That game will tip at either 1:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. Later that week, Duke travels to ACC-newcomer Louisville Jan. 17.

UNC hosts East Carolina Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. and then travels to Lexington, Kentucky to play to Wildcats Dec. 13 at noon. The Tar Heels will host rival N.C. State Feb. 24 at 8 p.m.

N.C. State will host Duke Jan. 11 at either 1:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. The Wolfpack travels to Louisville to face Rick Pitino and the Cardinals Feb.14 at 4 p.m.

Syracuse pays a visit to Raleigh to play the Pack March 7 at noon. The Orange and Wolfpack played two intense games last season with each taking a win.

The ACC/Big Ten Challenge is schedule to be played Dec. 1-3.

The 2015 ACC Tournament in Greensboro is scheduled to be played March 10-14.
