PALMER, MA (WSHM) -

Palmer police are looking for a 79-year-old man who they say pulled a machete out after a fender bender and hit a female passenger of another vehicle with it.

Police tell CBS 3 they were called to a business parking lot on Route 32 just after 4 Tuesday afternoon after reports of an accident.

They say former Palmer resident Robert Sturtvant got angry after his car was hit and pulled out the weapon.

He fled in a 4-door red Kia with Florida plates.

The woman that was hit suffered minor injuries and did not need medical attention.

Police say if you see Sturtvant, do not approach him and dial 911.
