CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Three Cleveland Police Officers have been released from the hospital after being involved in a serious car accident Tuesday evening.

The officers were in two separate cruisers when the vehicles hit each other head-on.

The crash happened while they were responding to an emergency broadcast for shots fired and an officer in pursuit in the area of East 133rd and Eaglesmere Avenue.

The accident scene was at the intersection of East 136th and Eaglesmere.

The impact from the collision spun one of the cruisers into the porch at 13516 Eaglesmere, causing damage to the porch area.

No civilians were injured.
