A woman is in serious condition after falling 50 feet from a rock wall above the Pali Highway on Sunday afternoon.
According to witnesses, the woman in her 30s was free-climbing the rock wall with another male hiker without any harnesses or safety gear. She began to slide after losing her grip and plunged 50 feet to the ground below.
Witnesses say she sustained multiple injuries and was bleeding from her head.
EMS crews responded to the Pali lookout area from where the woman was taken to hospital in serious condition.
