The man accused of hitting and killing a bicyclist early New Year's morning in Springfield will stand trial in November.
Adam Thurber appeared before a judge in Hampden Superior Court Wednesday.
He's accused of hitting and killing 25-year-old Derek Russell and then leaving the scene as Russell rode his bike down Boston Road on New Year's morning.
Police say they tracked Thurber down by watching surveillance of the accident captured by cameras on nearby homes.
Thurber is being held on $100,000 bail and will stand trial on Nov. 19.
