Poll measuring the publics opinion on the Washington Redskins name change controversy.

WTOP 103.5 FM today announced the results of its most recent Beltway Poll measuring the publics opinion on the Washington Redskins name change controversy.
The poll, conducted by Heart and Mind Strategies, surveyed residents of the Washington Metropolitan Area and found that more than 60 percent believe the Washington Redskins should not change their name. In addition, a large majority of residents would not support a boycott of Redskins sponsors such as FedEx, and when it comes to Redskins tickets and merchandise, the name change controversy has not influenced their decision to buy.
The specific findings of the poll:
The WTOP Beltway Poll, conducted by Heart and Mind Strategies, was created by polling 604 participants in the WTOP listening area from June 20-26, 2014. The comprehensive findings can be found online at http://www.wtop.com.
