STEVENS POINT, WI (WAOW/CBS) - Lois Matykowski found it hard to get upset about her dog vomiting on her carpet because he coughed up the wedding ring she had been looking for five years.

Matykowski's dog, Tucker, swallowed a popsicle whole and got sick. Not only did the stick come out, so did Matykowski's wedding ring.

"I look in the paper towel, and here is my wedding ring," Matykowski said. "I kid you not. My wedding ring was in Tucker's puke."

Tucker's veterinarian said the popsicle stick may have dislodged the ring. X-rays revealed there were no more buried treasures in the dog's stomach.

"So, I have my wedding ring back, and Tucker is big dog on campus right now," Matykowski said. "He's my hero."
