Route 141 in Holyoke is reopened after a deadly car crash had closed it down earlier Monday evening.
Holyoke police and fire crews responded to the crash shortly before 8 p.m. and say it appears as of right now that the elderly man behind the wheel had a medical emergency before crossing the center of the road and crashing into a guardrail.
Police say an autopsy will have to confirm what exactly happened to the man.
A CBS 3 crew on the scene saw two ambulances leave the area just down the street from the Log Cabin.
Route 141 was closed at the intersection of Southampton Road.
