Another Western Massachusetts town is falling victim to a popular phone scam.
Ludlow police say there are currently two types of those scams hitting residents in their town.
One caller claims to be from the IRS and asks for personal information, another claims the target's relative has been kidnapped and they need to wire money for ransom.
Police say they believe one person has fallen victim to a scam when someone claimed to be with the Western Mass Electric Company and demanded money to keep the victim's power on.
