Three children all under the age of five are in critical condition after a serious two car crash in Brimfield just after 5 Friday afternoon.
Brimfield and state police continue to investigate what caused the crash along Route 20.
Brimfield's police chief tells CBS 3 a gold Honda Civic traveling east bound crashed into the guard rail then drove across four lanes and smashed head on into a black Honda Civic.
Police say three children and two adults were taken to UMass Medical Center where they are in critical condition.
The two adults had to be med-flighted.
As of right now police are trying to figure what caused the driver of the gold Honda to lose control.
The chief tells CBS 3 that area is being investigated as a crime scene.
