Reports are surfacing that George Clooney is considering a run for governor, but it's not in his home state of Kentucky.
Multiple outlets have said that Clooney may follow in the footsteps of fellow actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and run for Governor of California in 2018.
Clooney is a noted political activist and was appointed as a United Nations Ambassador in 2008.
The two-time Academy Award winner has yet to comment on the possible run, but reports say he plans to begin the career transition after he weds fiancée Amal Alamuddin this fall.
It wouldn't be the first time Clooney has been called 'governor.' He played the Governor of Pennsylvania in the 2011 movie ‘The Ides of March,' which was filmed in Cincinnati.
