(CNN) – Harrison Ford injured his ankle on the set of the new Star Wars movie in England on Thursday.

A Disney spokesperson says the actor was taken to a hospital for treatment, and filming will continue as planned while he recuperates.

Ford is reprising his role as Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode VII. The film talks place 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.

It is scheduled to hit theaters in December 2015.
