GREENSBORO, N.C. -
A high school basketball player from Fayetteville is getting national attention after his pre-game dunk appeared at No. 1 on SportsCenter's "Top Players" feature.
Kwe Parker, who plays for Trinity Christian, did a reverse dunk before a recent club game in Greensboro. The 6-foot-2 Parker plays for the Karolina Diamonds summer team and did a reverse smash at Greensboro's Page High School gym.
The Fayetteville Observer reported that Parker, a rising junior, has offers from Clemson and Charlotte. Other Division I schools are starting to show more interest.
Parker built up his leg strength by running laps and jumping steps at Fayetteville State's football stadium.
