Late Saturday afternoon a body was recovered from a pond in Hampshire County.
Just after 4 p.m. authorities were called to Lower Mill Pond where a passerby noticed the body.
Mary Carey of the Northwestern District Attorney's Office told CBS 3 that shortly before 6 p.m. police recovered the body, believed to be of a 53-year-old man who lived nearby.
As of now, authorities do not suspect foul play.
Carey said cause of death will be determined by the office of the chief medical examiner.
The district attorney's office expects to release the identity of the body in the next two days.
