SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

A man wearing a blue motorcycle jacket unscrewed a security system from a Nintendo gaming console and walked out the door with the system while he was on camera, according to Springfield police Sgt. John Delaney.

The 6' tall man walked into the store located at 1630 Boston Rd. about 4:30 p.m. Monday and removed a security fitting from a mount that housed a Nintendo DS3 XL, which is worth about $200, Delaney said.

"This individual then boldly walked out the door to go gaming with his new system," Delaney stated in a news release. "Maybe play some Grand Theft Auto?"

Springfield police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect. If you have any information regarding the suspect, please call Detective Sgt. Daniel Reigner at 413-787-6355 or you can anonymously text-a-tip.
