Residents were invited to enjoy some food and live music on Saturday afternoon.
Agawam High School held its Band-A-Thon at the Polish American Club.
All of the bands performing at the event were composed of current students or alumni, and all of the funds raised will go towards the school's music program.
Organizers said the event was both a fundraiser for current students and a reunion for the school's alumni.
"It was a nice way to just pull everyone back in and to show the youth that music goes on in your life," said Patty Smith Souder, president of the band parents association. "It's not something that ends at high school. It continues throughout your life, whether you're a professional or you just enjoy it."
Tickets for Saturday's event were $15 for adults and $10 for students.
Children younger than five were admitted free of charge.
