19 Action News, WTOL 11's sister station in Cleveland, with Miller Boat Line, Mojito Bay, Mist, & Island Bike & Cart Rental is holding an open Casting Call for the hit CBS show "The Amazing Race" at Put-in-Bay, Thursday June 19h from 1:30pm -8:00pm.
1:30pm -4:30pm Mojito Bay Catawba Avenue, Put-in-Bay, OH
We're looking for a diverse group of men and women who represent a broad cross-section of American Society. Both applicants must be present and will have ONE minute to creatively express why they should be considered for "The Amazing Race."
Contestants will be selected based upon the following traits:
• Outgoing & Adventurous
• Physically and mentally adept
• Adaptable to new environments
• Interesting lifestyles, backgrounds and personalities
Anyone interested in auditioning should review the Eligibility Requirements at 19ActionNews.com prior to attending the Open Call to ensure the minimum requirements are met.
Those eligible should come with the partner they intend to compete with in the show if they are chosen. Each team member must print and sign a Video Release & Waiver and bring it to the Open Call on June 19th.

THE AMAZING RACE is a multi-Emmy Award-winning reality series hosted by Emmy Award- nominated host Phil Keoghan, which pits 11 teams, each comprised of two members, against each other on a trek around the world for approximately 25 days. At every destination, each team must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location. Teams who are the farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning $1 million.
