2 suffer minor injuries in Wendell accidental shooting

WENDELL, N.C. -

Wendell Police are investigating an accidental shooting that left two people injured Friday morning.

Around 9:30 a.m. Friday, officers responded to a shooting at 1024 Trumpet Vine Court in Wendell.

When they arrived to the scene, they found two victims, each suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand. The injuries do now appear to be life threatening.

Police have ruled the shooting accidental.
