PLANTATION, Fla., May 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BG Capital Group has acquired 50-percent interest of one of Canada's largest and most successful event management, promotional marketing, and public relations agencies, announced Board Chairman Bobby Genovese.

Bobby Genovese's BG Capital Group Acquires 50 Percent Interest in Solutions With Impact, Inc.

The stake in Solutions with Impact, Inc. (SWI) signals BG Capital Group's increased emphasis on key philanthropic efforts in tandem with its foray into the luxury hospitality market with the 2012 development of BG Signature Properties, a portfolio of 12 exclusive luxury retreats in the US, Canada, Europe, South America and Bahamas.

"We are thrilled to be part of this fast-growing company, which is the perfect complement to our hospitality and philanthropic interests," said Genovese, who, for the last two years, has chaired SWI's highly successful Boat Rally for Kids with Cancer. "Our efforts with the SickKids Foundation are helping the spectrum of what's needed - from research and treatment to practical advancements like 'chemotherapy backpacks' that free young patients from confining hospital stays."

"We couldn't ask for a better partner than BG Capital Group," said SWI President and CEO Joel Hock. "Merging our vast experience in the event management and promotional marketing industries with BG Capital's unique understanding of the business community, will allow us to significantly expand our portfolio offering to both the non-profit and for-profit sectors."

Since SWI's inception in 1999, they have help raised more than $35-million for non-profit foundations such as the Hospital for Sick Children, Baycrest Foundation, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Variety – The Children's Charity BC, Winnipeg's Health Sciences Center Foundation, Toronto East General Hospital Foundation, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, etc.
