Attorney general hopeful Maura Healey spent part of her day Tuesday in Western Massachusetts and picked up a couple of endorsements from area leaders.
Hampden County Sheriff Robert Garvey, Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse and Northampton Mayor David Narkewicz all gave their support to the Democratic candidate. They said they believe she is running for the right reasons.
"With her experience, passion and ability to get things done, and work with officials and focus on Western Mass, Maura will be the most effective attorney general for the state," Morse said.
Healey is running against fellow Democrat Warren Tolman for the job.
