KINGSPORT, TN (WJHL) -

The Kingsport Police Department says a woman who was booked into the city jail Monday afternoon concealed a weapon in her vagina.

The inmate, Dallas Archer, 19,  was arrested for driving on a suspended license. A female jailer searched Archer and found an item in her crotch, according to a report.

The jailer and another officer proceeded to checked Archer in the bathroom and recovered a loaded North American Arms 22 LR revolver from her vagina.

The pistol, valued at $250, was later discovered to be stolen during an auto burglary in 2013.

Archer was charged with possession of a firearm, introduction into a penal facility and possession of stolen property.

She was originally arrested earlier that day for driving on a suspended license after she was spotted driving on Skyland Lane in a silver 2004 Chrysler Pacifica. The arresting officer said in a report,  Archer's Tennessee licence status came back suspended on multiple failure to satisfy citations.
