Durham Academy teacher wins 'Let It Go' competition

A teacher from Durham Academy won Ryan Seacrest's competition for the best rendition of “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen.

Elizabeth South beat out the competition week after week in Ryan Seacrest’s March Music Madness competition.

South teaches music and drama at Durham Academy. She was selected for the competition based on the number of views her video received on YouTube.

South has also released multiple albums including "Do It Afraid," "Christmas," and "The Mysteries of Our Minds."
