BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

An American Airlines flight was diverted to the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport Sunday morning after a loss of cabin pressure.

Flight 1363 was on its way to Dallas-Fort Worth from Jacksonville, Florida around 9 a.m. Sunday when the pilot detected the issue. The plane with 130 passengers and a crew of 5 landed without
incident.

The aircraft, an MD-80, was taken out of service. The passengers were put on another
flight to their destination.
