CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Lakisha Wilson lives in Columbus, Ohio but came to Cleveland for an abortion.

She died after complications at the Preterm Clinic on Shaker Boulevard and her family is trying to figure out what happened.

Pastor Dale Hinkle, who is with the pro-life group Operation Rescue, says he shot video of an ambulance responding to a 911 call at the Preterm Clinic.

Inside that ambulance last month was 22-year-old Lakisha Wilson.

Her family says she came to Preterm to abort her pregnancy at five months gestation.

She graduated from Independence High School in Columbus where she was active in cheerleading.

Wilson was looking forward to continuing her cheerleading career as a coach.

She leaves behind a two-year-old son.

Inside the clinic, Wilson had complications. Hinkle, who protests the clinic three days a week saw EMS arrive.

Wilson and her unborn baby didn't make it.

"They walked out and they were walking briskly. They got her in the ambulance and sat their six more minutes doing what ever on the inside," Hinkle says.

Pro-life organizations including Operation Rescue and Created Equal will hold a news conference outside the Preterm Clinic on Wednesday, April 2.

They are already asking for the clinic to be shut down.

Right now the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has yet to rule on Wilson's cause of death.

Preterm released this statement:

"Preterm respects the confidentiality of each patient's health information, including which procedures may or may not have been involved. We have a 40-year commitment to providing the highest quality healthcare to the women of Northeast Ohio, which is what we focus on every day.

Preterm cares deeply about the health and safety of each of our patients. Abortion is one of the safest medical procedures in the United States, and complications are rare. At this time, we ask that the privacy of the family be respected."
