RPS spokesperson on leave for giving alcohol to intern

Posted: Updated:

A Richmond Public Schools official is on administrative leave for violating district policy.

RPS spokesperson Felicia Cosby is accused of giving alcohol to a student intern at RPS offices, according to sources.

The sources say Cosby makes her own wine, brought some to work and shared it with a student intern. The intern is a college student and is not underage.

Cosby is on leave, pending the outcome of an investigation. At this point, there is no criminal investigation. The allegation came from the Richmond Education Association on behalf of one of its members. A notice was sent out to school board members.
