Don't forget to wear your green as the Irish spirit comes to life in Tucson. On Saturday, March 15th, downtown Tucson will celebrate the 27th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival.

The St. Patrick's Day Festival opens at 10:00 a.m. at Armory Park on S. 6th Ave, across the Children's Museum, with live Irish music, dancers, entertainment, a children's game area, and food and merchandise vendors. The one-hour parade will start at 11:00 a.m. at Stone and 16th Street, making its way through downtown and coming to an end at Armory Park around noon.

The parade will feature floats, marchers military units, local dignitaries, media (watch for KOLD News 13's Dan Marries on the big red double-decker bus), entertainment personalities and civic, cultural and social groups. Click here for the St. Patrick's Day Parade homepage for more information.
