PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

One of two people accused of a deadly crime spree as part of a white-supremacist plot has pleaded guilty in court.

Holly Grigsby reached a plea deal Tuesday. She now faces life in prison for the robberies, kidnappings and killings in Oregon, Washington and California in 2011.

David Pedersen is still facing federal charges for the 10-day crime spree that spanned from Everett, WA to Eureka, CA.

Investigators said they murdered Pedersen's father and stepmother, along with a California man, Reginald Clark, because he was black, and Oregon teen Cody Myers, because they thought his name sounded Jewish.

They were caught in October 2011 by California Highway Patrol.

The goal of Grigsby and Pedersen, according to a 2012 indictment, was to use "acts of violence and other criminal activity to promote a white supremacist movement to 'purify' and 'preserve' the white race."

The indictment alleges they robbed victims in order to finance their plans.

Grigsby is set to be sentenced in June, and she is expected to face life in prison. Attorneys said her plea agreement did not include a stipulation that she must testify against Pedersen.

Pedersen is still scheduled to go to trial in July. Earlier this month, he accepted legal help from court-appointed attorneys, after previously winning the right to represent himself, the Associated Press reported.

The government decided in February not to pursue the death penalty in the case.
