A job fair at Six Flags New England began Friday afternoon. The amusement park is hiring more than three thousand seasonal employees for the upcoming 2014 season.
Six Flags spokeswoman, Jennifer McGrath said they would be holding another fair Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. She said a majority of the applicants come in on Saturday. McGrath suggested people apply online before arriving to speed up the process.
Several people said everything moved smoothly and efficiently Friday.
Some prospective employees said they have worked at the park before and really enjoyed the experience.
McGrath noted there were several benefits to working for Six Flags, including a free pass to the park, and for some, health insurance and a 401k retirement plan. She said while the positions were seasonal, there are many that offer full-time hours.
The park is scheduled to open April 12.
