HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Police say a 30-year-old woman shot in the head and arm in Hartford is in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.
Investigators say the woman was alert and conscious when officers arrived on the scene on Albany Avenue around 2 p.m. Sunday. She was listed in stable condition at St. Francis Hospital and police say the bullet is lodged in her brain.
The shooting is being investigated by Hartford Police and Major Crimes Division detectives.
