A Ludlow man was taken to the hospital Thursday night after he was hit by a car while snow blowing on Center Street.
Ludlow police told CBS 3 the 53-year-old man was crossing the street when he and the snow blower were struck by a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Witnesses said the man traveled about 50 feet.
Paramedics said the man was conscious and alert when they arrived on scene and his injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
Police said a Monson man driving the Jeep will likely not face charges, but the accident is still under investigation.
Center Street was closed down while police cleaned up the scene, as the snow blower was smashed all over the road.
