Chapel Hill PD search for 2nd suspect in Rosemary St. shooting

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -

Chapel Hill police are looking for a second suspect wanted in connection with a shooting on West Rosemary Street on Friday, Jan. 24. 

Police responded to a shooting around 6:30 p.m. last Friday in the 300 block of West Rosemary St. Police said the victim, who is not a UNC student, was shot multiple times.

Police have identified the victim as 31-year-old Ishamel David Hamilton Jr. Hamilton is currently in stable condition at UNC Hospitals. 

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Nasheka Renee Clark, also known as Nasheka Hamilton. Clark is charged with first-degree murder. 

Police identified one suspect over the weekend. Police said Dennis Junious Clark shot Hamilton.
