BATON ROUGE, LA (RNN) - Seven steals and nine blocks helped LSU take down Missouri 77-71 in a close game Tuesday night.

The LSU Tigers (12-5, 3-2 SEC) shot 44 percent from the paint, 32 percent from downtown and 69 percent from the free throw line. While the Missouri Tigers (14-4, 2-3) were better at the 3-point line (44 percent), they only shot 39 percent from the paint and 69 percent from the free throw line.

Jabari Brown led Mizzou with a career-high 28 points. Jordan Clarkson added 19 and Earnest Ross made 16.

Shavon Coleman led LSU with a season-high 19 points. Johnny O'Bryant III made 16 points while Jordan Mickey and Andre Stringer added 14 and 12 points, respectively.
