The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos are headed to New Jersey for Super Bowl 48.
The director of the Sunset Station Race and Sports Book said the line opened at "pick 'em," with early action being on Denver.
"Only the fourth time the game has been less than a field goal," director Chuck Esposito said.
Esposito said things are settling in and this matchup is impressive.
"This is only the second time in last 20 years that two No. 1 seeds from each conference are meeting in one game. And fourth time ever the No. 1 offensive team, that happens to be Denver, against No. 1 defensive team, happens to be Seattle, meet. Coincidentally, three out of four times the defensive team won the big game," Esposito said.
Director of the Wynn Las Vegas Race and Sports Book Johnny Avello said they opened with the Seahawks as a one point favorite but things quickly changed.
"Within the course of 12 to 16 hours, that line went from Seattle one, to Denver two, which is a three-point swing," Avello said.
While the mad rush to place bets is still a week or so away, big money is already coming in.
"We took a six-figure bet last night, and that's good. It shows the action is going to be brisk, and I really believe we're going to break the record handle, which is $98 million," Avello said.
Esposito agreed a $100 million handle is not out of the question.
