Health officials are sending a warning that the flu season could be peaking soon.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said another 10 states reported widespread seasonal flu activity last week.
That brings the total number of states reporting widespread activity to 35.
The designation addresses the spread of the flu, not its severity.
According to the CDC, flu season typically peaks in January or February.
Boston announced on Friday, it's had the first flu-related death of the season.
