4 students taken to hospital after buses collide in San Tan Valley

SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ (CBS5) -

A crash involving two school buses in San Tan Valley sent four students to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

A Pinal County Sheriff's Office spokesman said the crash happened about 8:45 a.m. as schools opened after the long holiday break. Medical personnel treated six of the seven passengers on the two buses, the spokesman said.

The crash was at Denim Trail and Azalea Drive, the spokesman said.

No other information was immediately available.
