A Bay State hockey legend showcased his talents on Saturday night at the Mass Mutual Center.
With the Bruins playing a day game in Boston, Rene Rancourt made the trip down the Mass Pike to sing both the U.S. and Canadian national anthems prior to the game between the Springfield Falcons and the Providence Bruins.
Rancourt has been singing before Boston Bruins games for 35 years and signed plenty of autographs after singing in Springfield.
As for the game, the Falcons beat Providence 2-1.
Springfield will be back home next Friday night, when they host the Albany Devils.
