A DPS officer was hurt in a crash Friday morning while trying to make a traffic stop, authorities said.
DPS spokesman Carrick Cook said one of their officers was pulling over a motorcycle northbound on Grand Avenue when another vehicle rear-ended the officer's vehicle, causing him to crash into the retaining wall.
The officer was taken to JCL North Mountain with a leg injury.
