Springfield police say a North End shooting Tuesday night happened after a cell phone deal went bad.
Police say the man that walked into Baystate Medical Center with a gunshot wound was the victim of what they call "a cell phone deal gone bad."
The 25-year-old was shot by an unknown man in a parking lot on Lowell Street after he had gone there to buy a cell phone.
The victim was listed in good condition.
Police are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
