TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing a midtown smoke shop at gunpoint.

Investigators say 18-year-old Adrian Pride surrendered late yesterday at the main police station downtown.

Police said last week that they identified Pride as the man seen in security photos robbing the Maui Smoke Shop at 1099 East Broadway Boulevard on Nov. 12.

Police say Pride allegedly held up a clerk at the shop at gunpoint, but the clerk refused to give him money, and the suspect left the store.

A few hours later, police said Pride came back and allegedly threatened the clerk at gunpoint again.

Police say Pride fled on foot, chased by the clerk. Pride allegedly fired several shots at the clerk as he left the area in a white 4-door passenger vehicle, according to police.

No one was injured in the incident.
