The Boulevard Mall east of the Las Vegas Strip has a new owner.
The shopping center that once claimed the title as the "largest mall in southern Nevada" was bought by local buyers Sansone Companies/Boulevard Ventures, LLC, according to the property's broker CB Richard Ellis.
Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
In the announcement, CB Richard Ellis, which also served as the mall's management company, said the shopping center at 3528 South Maryland Parkway will likely retain its current tenant businesses while also seeking new stores under incoming management.
The deal between previous owners Rouse Properties and Boulevard Ventures also includes 56 acres adjacent to the 1.1 million-square-foot mall itself.
A spokesperson for CB Richard Ellis said no temporary closures were expected as a result of the sale.
"It is business as usual for employees, tenants and shoppers right now during the busy holiday shopping season, so there will be no interruption in holiday events and special extended shopping hours," CB Richard Ellis spokesperson Marlene Fujita-Winkel said.
The mall first opened in March 1968, making it currently the oldest mall in Las Vegas. Its latest renovation took place in 1992.
The mall currently holds 140 stores and three anchor department stores.
The mall was first placed on sale in June.
