Where have all the shoppers gone?

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The stores may have opened up last night, but shoppers in Southern Arizona appear to have hit the snooze button on early shopping.

The lines are no longer around the store, they are inside it.

Many stores in Tucson opened up at 6 p.m. last night, and they aren't closing until 10 p.m. this evening; one store that is doing this is Best Buy.  Shoppers are in stores for Black Friday deals, or door busters.

According to the website, Shopper Trak, Black Friday is being forecasted as the biggest shopping day of the year.

In 2012 over $11 billion was spent on Black Friday.  With more stores opening on Thanksgiving and longer hours for the store, Shopper Track believes there will be more money spent on Thursday this year.
