Springfield police responded to reports early Wednesday morning of a man being shot in the city's Old Hill neighborhood. The call came in around 3:52 a.m.
When police arrived to the scene in the area of 611 Union St., they found him with a small gunshot wound to his leg.
Police say the man was not cooperating and refused medical attention.
Police were not able to locate a gun. They continue to investigate the incident.
