Easthampton drivers can breathe a sign of relief today as construction work on the Manhan Bridge comes to an end.
The bridge located along Route 10 had been undergoing several repairs since June.
It re-opened Thursday afternoon, five weeks ahead of schedule.
The $3.74 million project was part of the Patrick Administration's Accelerated Bridge Program.
MassDOT said the bridge was built with precast concrete deck bulb T-beams, a process that reduces the amount of time required. This is the first such construction used in Western Massachusetts.
