Twenty to 30 homes were without water for about six hours on Saturday after a water main break.
Holyoke Water Works officials told CBS 3 that they were first made aware of the issue on River Terrace around 5 a.m.
They said they had to replace approximately 20 feet of a 12-inch water main.
Water was shut off to that area by 7 a.m.
While it was back by the early afternoon, crews remained on scene until early in the evening.
