PD: Man shot during drive-by shooting in Hartford

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A man is recovering after being shot three times during a drive-by shooting in Hartford early Sunday morning.

A older, black Nissan Maima, which had heavy tinted windows and two exhaust pipes, was traveling eastbound in the 100 block of Mather Street when someone in the vehicle shot a man walking in the area, according to police.

The unidentified man was found by officers sitting on the step of building in the 100 block of Bedford Street, police said. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital with injuries to his right hand, elbow and thigh, police said.

No arrests have been made at this time and the shooting is under investigation by the Hartford Police Major Crimes Division.
