ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bright House Networks today announced it they will launch two new Univision networks - Univision Deportes Network and Univision tlNovelas.
Univision Deportes, a 24-hour network offering unprecedented access to the live matches, sports news, entertainment and the interactivity Hispanic sports fans crave, will be available to Digital Basic and Nuestros Canales customers locally on Channel 944 in Standard Definition and Channels 1166 & 1944 in High Definition. Univision tlNovelas, the network that brings viewers the biggest telenovela hits of all time, many which have never been seen since their original broadcast, will be available on Nuestros Canales on Channel 931 in Standard Definition. Along with Univision Deportes Network and Univision tlNovelas, Univision will bring a comprehensive selection of Hispanic networks and content to Bright House Networks customers.
In addition, customers will have access to a robust offering of content for digital platforms and VOD, which includes "TV Everywhere" content for Bright House TV's platforms and access to Univision's UVideos and Univision Deportes digital properties.
Bright House Networks will also be among the first distributors to carry the El Rey Network. Created and programmed by renowned filmmaker Robert Rodriguez and FactoryMade Ventures, El Rey is a new English-language entertainment cable network geared towards young-adult audiences launching in January 2014.
Univision Deportes Network and Univision tlNovelas will be available in most Bright House Networks service areas tomorrow, and El Rey will be available in January 2014.
