The tough economy isn't slowing down a local business.
Interstate Towing in Chicopee has expanded its headquarters on Westover Road.
The towing company held a ribbon cutting ceremony to show off their new dispatch center.
"Right now we get about 50,000 calls a year, its all about ETAs, how fast you get here, and the importance of a bigger dispatch crew helps us to meet those ETA's more efficiently," said Interstate Towing owner Jeremy Procon.
Procon said Interstate started back in 1998 with one tow truck and one dispatcher. It now has over 30 trucks.
Chicopee Mayor Michael Bissonnette was on hand to help cut the ribbon.
