Saturday, Hard Rock held a job fair, showing residents what careers would come to town with their proposed $800-million casino resort.
Sunday night, the company held what it called its final open house before residents vote on their host community agreement next month.
The ice cream social was held at Storrowtown Carriage House on the Big E campus, not far from the proposed casino location.
As residents praised Hard Rock's work in the community, officials told CBS 3 that they will continue their efforts in the city leading in to the vote.
Residents will vote on the agreement with Hard Rock on Sept. 10.
They will be the second Western Massachusetts city to vote, as Springfield approved MGM's agreement last month.
