More than 800 people were without power in Springfield after an outage Tuesday night.
At around 9 p.m. the Western Mass Electric Company outage map was reporting 817 people in the city have been left in the dark.
WMECO officials say it originated in the Forest Park area where crews responded to smoke coming from a manhole on Forest Park Avenue.
Officials with the utility company tell CBS 3 that there was no fire, but crews are working on the problem.
The power outage extended to CBS 3 Springfield in Monarch Tower in downtown Springfield.
Power was completely restored as of 11:30 Tuesday night.
